3/14/25 Blue Angels Overnight

3 bikes and 2 cages set out on a chilly morning ride to El Centro. It stopped raining about an hour before KSU, but we did enjoy some wet roads as we set out before sunrise. Jorge led the ride into Gila Bend for breakfast at the Space Age Diner. With bellys and gas tanks full, we cruised across the desert to the show.

There were fewer displays and demonstration teams this year. The demos there were spectacular, capped off by another amazing Blue Angels performance. We met up with Mike T and Heather at the show. They drove over in their RV and camped at the base.

After the show we rode back to El Centro and checked into the hotel. We decided to try a Mexican restaurant named Celia's. If you want some good Mexican food, Celia's is the place to go! Our waiter, Marco, made some recommendations and they were delicious.

After a few laughs at dinner and a few more at the hotel bar, it was time to call it a night.

Jorge led us back home the next day to finish another fun EVHOG weekend
